good toy
This toy is very interesting and good. After I bought this toy for my 9-year-old son as a birthday gift. I found that he had fun with this toy. And often plays it when he has a chance. When you see it even more interesting. Very cheap compared to the quality and enjoyment of the goods. Several months ago, this toy also works fine. The toys that I recommend if you e looking for great toys for your kids

Great forever
This toy is a classic and the best toys from Matchbox forever. I bought this for my son. As a gift for Christmas Island Spa. I found that he loved this toy. Very fun toy. I recommend for your child. Thanks for the Matchbox created this world. If you find a toy for your kids, this is the most attractive option. It encourages a childs imagination with a fun and useful. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

Speial shark rig for Christmaas
This is the classic and best from Matchbox forever. I bought this for my son. He love it very much. Funy toy that I recommend for your children. Thank you for Matchbox that create this fo the world.

Great toy
My nephew, who is five, loves this toy! He gets bored pretty quickly with toys. But this is one of the few that he will play with over and over again. There are alot of interactive parts such as the hook and the claw which interacts with the shark. The boat can also be taken apart to be mixed and matched into a variety of configurations including the captain action figure. I think the interaction is the main reason that my nephew loves this toy. It is a very durable toy. My nephew is very rough with his toys and after two months of constant play, it still remains intact. He has also played with this toy during bath time on many occasions.

Another great toy in the Mega Rig line
My boys (ages 5 and 7) love the variety in the Mega Rig items each year. This is no exception. It is a pretty big set with lots of options for creating smaller boats. My younger son received it for his birthday, and he immediately created two smaller boats (to share with his brother and sister) along with the large section. They even combine the other Mega Rig sets to create different areas of their "world" on the living room rug. The best feature for me is the fact that the shark has a slit on the underside. I can get my finger in there and poke out anything that the shark has "eaten", so nothing gets stuck there. A previous reviewer gave this a very low rating simply because it includes a harpoon (so they assumed that the entire premise of the set suggests violence). THat's nonsense! All 3 of my children haven't even used the harpoon, they are so busy with other features of the set. It hasn't even occurred to them to kill sea creatures.

As with all the Mega Rig products, it's fairly durable (we've only had one small breakage in one of the other Mega Rig toys - and we have probably a hundred pieces). And it comes with a hungry shark! Who could ask for more?

I cant believe parents buy that to their kids teaching them to hate animals instead of teaching them love and respect for nature what next Mattel is gonna invent a game with whaler boat harpooning whales then maybe the next step is a game teaching them how to torture humans too

Great Toy For Imagination
We got this for our 3 1/2 yr old son last Christmas. It is all he wanted and all last fall thats all he would say "I want the Shark Ship".

Well 1 year later and it is still going strong. The toy is able to be made into many many different ships/crafts. He even takes it into the bath tub sometimes. He has even taken parts of the squid and incorporated them into the ships and vice-versa.

A tip would be to cut the box up and save the pictures so your little guy(or girl) can look at one and build it.

There are small pieces but he never had a problem putting them in his mouth.

This is an overall GREAT toy.

Good toy BUT Do not pay more than $40 for this
Great toy. But please do not think that it is worth spending more than $40 for it. Get into your car and go to the toy store to buy it yourself ( I bought it at toys r us for $35). Unfortunately Amazon has really lost my faith for the good deals here. Let the adult loosers who collect toys pay this and dont loose your bearings that this is acceptable to pay this amount. Same goes for the pirate ship from Imaginex.

Combine with other Mega Rigs for more Fun!
My 5-year-old son and I discovered this while browsing and saw a video commercial on a web site I can no longer remember. Naturally it ended up on his wish list. Luckily I was able to still get it at a reasonable price but it will likely become more expensive since it is discontinued. The Mega Rig Shuttle Matchbox Mega Rig Space Shuttle [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging]that was out this season is a great alternative which is what my 8-year-old got for Christmas and it is one of his favorites. Both sets have entertained my boys for hours and they interchange parts which has resulted in some bizzare and creative vehicles. The toys are durable and have not disappointed us but I dont intend to let them put them in the bath tub. (The shuttle came with an alien ship that has electronic sound effects.) I would definitely opt for the frustration-free package because the shuttle in the regular package is screwed in and has a lot of wires and plastic.

Love it but not for this price.
We bought this toy for my son when he was 4. At the age of 6 he still loves it. We got on the computer to look up some pictures for ideas for the different things you can build with it. (the box and any papers that came with it are long gone.) I cant believe the price that is listed. Im sure I paid no more than $[...] maybe $[...] for this toy.
